TAGGING ITEMS FOR AN ONLINE SALE

Consignor Login
UPDATE:  Due to Covid, the Spring 2021 sale is ONLINE.
PictureEntering Tag Online
ENTERING TAGS:  Log into the consignor homepage and enter the item description, size, price, and whether to discount.  Please enter the brand (i.e. Nike) on the top line and the description, including the SIZE of the item you are selling on the second line.  A complete description helps you accurately tag your sold items.    Please ensure you can identify your items based on the description as they will be tagged at the END of the sale.

Check the "Discount" box if you want your item reduced on 50% off day,

Uploading Pictures for Online Sales:  Each item listed for the online sale MUST have a photo.  It is important that pictures are clearly focused on the item, free of background clutter, rotated properly (not sideways), and recommend no faces of people.  You can only upload ONE photo and it is highly recommended that you use an app such as "Pic Collage" so you can post multiple images of each item in a single photo.  Once you are happy with your photo, click the box "Ready to sell online".  If you do not click this box, your images will not upload to the online store.  The www icon will show next to the camera icon if you marked the box.

PRINTING TAGS for SOLD Items:
  • Tags will only be generated for SOLD items and will be printed at the END of the sale.
  • Print tags on white or pastel colored card stock (do not use regular copy/printer paper).
  • Make sure that your tags are printing clearly (not faded or smudged).
  • Make sure the pop-up blocker is turned off in order for tags to generate.
  • If printing tags from a Mac computer, you will want to use Safari. Tags printed from Explorer or Firefox will sometimes result in the last two tags on the page getting cut off and printing on a second page.

ATTACHING TAGS:
  • Attach tags to clothing by using a safety pin or tagging gun.  Pin tags to the right-hand corner of clothing.  If using a tagging gun, please attach the barb in the tag or the seam to avoid tearing holes in your clothing items.
  • Tape tags to Ziploc bags, toys, books, etc with clear packing tape.
  • Tags can be pinned, taped, or zip-tied to strollers and other baby gear. Just make sure the tag is easily visible and securely attached.
  • For extra strength, you can “laminate” the top of the tag with clear packing tape before pinning to prevent tag tearing.

GROUPING ITEMS BY SHOPPER:
Each tag will have a shopper code (purchases made by the same shopper).  Group your sold items by shopper code and organized in alphabetical order.  All items will be inspected--please do not seal them in bags.  In these photos, the first four letters are the shopper code and the #XXXX is the order number,
